Fincas Near Porto Colom
On the southeast coast of Majorca lies the fishing village of Porto Colom. It grew up
around a fishing village and so you’ll see fishing boats bob up and down the harbor and at the northern end of the
quay, the fishermen’s cottages add to its charm.
Cala Marcal is the main beach approximately 500 meters away and snorkeling is popular here. The beaches are less
crowded here and the port has a very Majorcan feel to it. A good number of shops do good business in the harbor
area for every day needs and for amazing views go behind the beach of Cala Marcal. The town also has two good-sized
supermarkets, where apart from wines and spirits, you’ll find Mallorquin specialties. Porto Colom is one and
quarter hours away from the airport of Palma. There are several fincas near the
